Bullet-hit bodies of two Rohingyas found in Teknaf

Police recovered the bullet-hit bodies of two Rohingyas from Mithapanir Chara area near the Marine Drive of Sadar union in Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar on Saturday morning.

The deceased were identified as Khairul Amin, 35, son of late Kashim, and Abdullah, 40, son of Haji Muhammad of D block of Unchiprong Rohingya camp in Teknaf. Police claimed that the deceased were drug traders.

Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Pradip Kumar Das said that local people spotted the bodies in the area this and informed the police. Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

It is known that both of them are drug traders and Rohingyas. They lived in the camp and were involved in drugs trading. Police initially thought that they were killed in a clash between the two groups of drug traders over money distribution.

The bodies were sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, said the OC.
