Bullet-hit bodies of 2 Rohingya youths found in Teknaf

Police recovered the bullet-hit bodies of two Rohingya youths from Hnila area near Hnila Moin Uddin Memorial College in Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar on Saturday morning.

However, the details identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately. 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablets were also recovered on the spot.

Teknaf-2 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Captain Lt. Colonel Asadud-Zaman Chowdhury a patrol team of BGB chased them while they were trying to enter in Bangladesh along with Yaba through the Naf river. At one stage, the BGB members opened fire on them, leaving two people dead.

Teknaf Police Station Officer-in-Charge Pradip Kumar Das said the bodies were recovered and sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital.
