Brian Lara hospitalized after chest pain

Former Windies captain Brian Charles Lara has recently been admitted to the hospital. While working at a program for Star Sports, he suddenly felt ill.
Around 12.30 pm, he felt chest pain and given primary treatment at the hotel. Later, he was admitted to Mumbai Hospital as his condition did not improve.
Lara has been kept under observation, according to hospital authorities and said that they will take action after understanding the situation.
The 50-year-old Lara was covering this year’s World Cup for Star Sports.
Lara retires from international cricket in 2010. He is the record holder of the highest individual score in Test innings with his 400* against England at Antigua in 2004.
