Brazil destroys Peru with Neymar’s hat-trick

The five-time world champions Brazil beat Peru 4-2 with Neymar’s hat-trick in the World Cup qualifier at the Estadio Nacional del Peru Stadium on Wednesday morning. André Carrillo and Renato Tapia scored two goals for the hosts while Richarlison scored the other goal for Brazil.
In the 2nd match of the qualifying round, Brazil fell behind in the 6th minute when Peruvian forward Carrillo scored the first goal for Peru. Carrillo’s powerful volley jumped could not stop by Brazil goalkeeper Weverton Pereira da Silva.
Neymar Jr. paid the Peruvian goal by scoring from the penalty shot in the 26th minute. That goal ended in the first half.
In the 59th minute, the host Peru went ahead again with Tapia’s goal. However, Richarlison equalized five minutes later. The Everton forward sent the ball into the net, gently touching Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino’s shortened head.
Neymar then gave the team the lead in the 83rd minute with his “second” penalty shot. Neymar completed his hat-trick in the injury time of the match and gave Brazil a 4-2 win over Peru.
Neymar surpassed Brazilian legend Ronaldo as the second most goals for Brazil.
