Brazil is the second most coronavirus affected nation after the United States. The number of victims and deaths in the country is increasing at an alarming rate almost every day.

Meanwhile, the total number of victims in the country has exceeded 1.5 million.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1,071 fresh coronavirus cases have been detected in the country. Besides, 55 people have died.

According to Worldometer, so far 1,502,424 coronavirus cases reported in Brazil while 62,045 people have died. Besides, 916,147  people have recovered.

Brazil has the highest number of victims and deaths among Latin American countries.

Note that the corona infection started much later in Brazil than in many other countries. Brazil reported the first coronavirus patient on February 28. But since then the number of victims has been increasing rapidly. The people of the country blamed President Jair Bolsonaro for the rapid rise in infections. Much like Donald Trump at the beginning of the epidemic, he also described the Coronavirus epidemic as a "panic" created by the media."
