Brahmanbaria reports 73 more COVID-19 cases

Another 73 coronavirus cases were detected in the last 24 hours in Brahmanbaria. With this, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the district increased to 1,582.
This information was confirmed by Dr. Sanjida Akhter, in charge of the Civil Surgeons Office on Tuesday night.
She said out of 226 sample tests, 73 tested positive in the lab of the Government National Institute of Laboratory Medicine and Referral Center. Of them, 31 are residents of Sadar Upazila, 16 are residents of Nabinagar, 3 are residents of Sarail, 13 are residents of Akhaura, 3 are residents of Kasba, 4 are residents of Ashuganj, and 3 are residents of Nasirnagar.
Dr. Sanjida added that so far 1,582 people have been infected with coronavirus in Brahmanbaria. 602 of them have recovered. Besides, 25 people have died.
