Brahmanbaria reports 23 more COVID-19 cases

23 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Brahmanbaria and raised the total number of infected cases to 1,984 in the district.
At the same time, 22 more people have overcome the virus according to today’s reports, said Brahmanbaria Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ekram Ullah on Friday night. So far, 1,406 recovery cases have been reported.

He said the corona of 23 people was identified in 263 sample tests at Government National Institute of Laboratory Medicine and Referral Center lab.
Among the newly identified, four are in Sadar upazila, four in Akhaura, four in Nasirnagar, three in Sarail, three in Ashuganj, three in Kasba and two in Nabinagar.
38 people have died in the district so far after contracting COVID-19. Besides, 542 people are still in isolation. Of these, 533 are in the district and rests in other districts.
