Brad Pitt, always remains on top among Hollywood actors in media gossips and news, however, he did not receive any Oscar as an actor before. It is said that the Oscar became a ‘Prestige Issue’ for him. So, by breaking all the criticism and discussions, he got the golden trophy for the first time in the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ category for the film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
But why is this Oscar became so prestigious for him, where he received an Oscar for producing ‘12 Years a Slave’ movie in 2014. But is it ok for an actor to receive an award as ‘a producer’? It is said ‘if you patient, you will get the result’. And this year, this happens. Though the award is for ‘Best Supporting Actor’, but the award as an actor is a ‘receipt of perfection’.
Brad Pitt was one of the favorites in the category of the ‘Best Supporting Actor’. He was ahead for winning the Golden Globe and BAFTA awards.
Tom Hanks (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood), Anthony Hopkins (The Two Popes), Al Pacino (The Irishman), Joe Pesci (The Irishman) were nominated in the same category.
