Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are no longer attending family therapy. The former couple, separated in September 2016, were previously working towards a cordial co-parenting relationship, however, tensions have recently erupted between them ahead of next month’s custody trial and now they have stopped attending the counseling sessions.
According to Bang Showbiz, the Hollywood couple – who have Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne together – are currently at loggerheads over how much time they each spend with their children. However, Maddox can make his decisions about his schedule due to his age.
“Brad wants 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of the kids where Angelina did not agree to those terms,” a close source related to them explained, informing that she will agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children is not Los Angeles.
The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles which Angelina has always been opposed to, the source also said, adding, “They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person.”
The celebrity duo previously appeared to be moving towards a long-term solution when Brad was leaving Angelina’s house in June after spending several hours with the kids and now they had been making “progress” in their dispute in July last year, a source close to them explained the situation.
