Boat 2, Plough 1 from Sunamganj

In the 11th parliamentary election, Awami League’s Boat Sunamganj won two seats and Jatiya Party’s Plough has won one seat.

In Sunamganj-3 constituency, (Jagannathpur, South Sunamganj), Awami League’s Boat candidate MA Mannan won unofficially as he got 1,76,000 votes. His nearest rival BNP’s Paddy Sheath candidate Shahinur Pasha Chowdhury got 44,281 votes.

Jatiya Party’s Plough nominated candidate Peer Fazlur Rahman Misbah has won unofficially in the Sunamganj-4 constituency (Sunamganj Sadar, Bishwamvarpur). He got 1,37,289 votes. His nearest rival Fazlul Haque’s Paddy Sheath symbol got 69,749 votes.

In Sunamganj-5 constituency (Chatok, Doara Bazar), Awami League’s Boat candidate Muhibur Rahman Manik won unofficially as he got 2,20,428 votes. His nearest rival, Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury received 1,04,595 votes with Paddy Sheath symbol.
