Biman’s new Dash 8-400 due in country Wed

The new Dash 8-400 model aircraft purchased for Biman Bangladesh Airlines will arrive in the country on Wednesday.
The aircraft will take off from De Havilland Bombardier Aerospace, a Canadian aircraft manufacturer, for Bangladesh on Tuesday.
According to Biman sources, the second of three Dash 8-400 aircraft purchased on a G2G basis between the Government of Bangladesh and Canada is arriving in the country on Wednesday. The 74-seater Dash 8-400 plane is eco-friendly and has ultramodern facilities. The third aircraft is scheduled to arrive in the country next March.
The total number of aircraft currently in the Biman’s fleet is 19, including four Boeing 777-300ER, four Boeing 787-8, two Boeing 787-9, six Boeing 737 and three Dash 8-400 aircraft. With the addition of new aircraft, the number will stand at 20.
