Biman resumes flight on Dhaka-Kolkata route
Biman Bangladesh Airlines today resumed regular flights on Dhaka-Kolkata route. This information has been informed on the website of the company.
As per the pre-arranged announcement, Biman has started regular flights on Dhaka-Kolkata route from December 1.
Biman managing director and CEO of the Kolkata route flight Mokabbir Hossain said the number of passengers is less now as tourist visa has not been introduced. Even then, three flights will be operated per week on the Dhaka-Kolkata route.
From October 28, Biman launched flights to Kolkata, Delhi, and Chennai in India under the 'Air Bubble' agreement. The company operated three flights a week on these three routes. However, Biman announced on November 9 that flights on the Kolkata route would be closed from November 12 due to unavoidable reasons.
The minimum fare from Dhaka to Kolkata is Tk 5,226. All information can be found on Biman's website.
