Biman again cancels flights for passenger crisis

Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Wednesday has again canceled flights due to passenger crisis on domestic routes, confirmed Tahera Khandaker, Biman’s Deputy General Manager (Public Relations), saying, “Four flights to three destinations of Biman was scheduled to operate but they were later canceled.”
She said two flights were scheduled to be operated on the Syedpur route, one on the Sylhet route and one on Chattogram route on Wednesday. “However, all flights have been canceled.”
After a long two-month hiatus due to coronavirus, the airline resumed flights on three domestic routes on Monday. On the second day, Biman could not operate any flight due to the passenger crisis. The state-flagged airline was in a similar situation on Wednesday.
