The non-profit organization Bidyanondo Foundation that continues the  project titled "Ek takay ahar" (Food at Tk 1) for  feeding the underserved people has built the biggest cooking pot in Bangladesh as they need to cook for more than 10,000 people daily.

This biggest cooking pot ensures the cooking for three thousand people at a time. It is added by Bidyanondo mega kitchen which is about 8.6 feet in diameter as well as a depth of 2 feet and the pot weighs one ton.

On their Facebook page they wrote, "As far as we know this is the biggest cooking pot in Bangladesh and this is the newest addition to our Bidyanondo mega kitchen.

This has been made by spending over Tk 1 lakh and will serve a very just cause. On a daily basis, we cook for more than 10,000 people and that requires a hundred or more big cooking pots.

To manage these hundred pots and cooking separately we need a huge amount of manpower, volunteer time, effort, money etc. To save resources and better manage the mega kitchen we have decided to revamp it.

We did not start our charity programmes only to find the leave of mind, rather strived to be efficient and serve the distressed population to the maximum. We do hope that you will stand by our side as always."

Though the cooking is being done in such a huge arrangement they are not willing to compromise on the quality and taste of food. This innovative initiative of Bidyanondo Foundation is taken not to set a record but to give the best food to the disadvantaged people at low cost and in a short time.

Bidyanondo Foundation is a Bangladeshi voluntary organization that works with children. The organization provides basic education, nutrition, medical care and legal services to street children, disadvantaged poor and indigent children.

Bidyanondo was established on 22 November 2013 in Narayanganj, after that the Chattogram branch of this organization was established in 2014  and finally finally in January 2020 the twelfth branch of Bidyanondo was opened in Khagrachari.  Bidyanondo has a total of 12 branches now in the country mainly serves the aim to provide education to underprivileged children and feeding the underserved through a project titled "Ek takay ahar" (Food at Tk 1).
