United States President Joe Biden has fired a White House official who was appointed during the Trump administration, immediately after taking the Oval office.
The sacked White House chief usher Timothy Harleth was appointed by Melania Trump in 2017. He was mainly the room manager at the Trump International Hotel, a company owned by former President Donald Trump.
He replaced Angela Reid of the Obama administration.
Through this decision, Joe Biden warned the new officials, saying: “If you are working with me and I hear you are behaving disrespectfully towards another colleague, talking to someone abusively, I will dismiss him immediately.”
