In his first tweet since being sworn in as the President of the United States, Joe Biden wrote, “There is no time to waste when it comes to tackling the crises we face. That’s why today, I am heading to the Oval Office to get right to work delivering bold action and immediate relief for American families.”
Vice President Kamala Harris, in her first tweet since being sworn in, wrote, “For the people—always.”
It is to be mentioned that Washington DC has become a haunted city during the swearing-in ceremony, as a result, Biden and Harris took the oath of office amid National Guard's army-encirclement.
However, former presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were present on the occasion. Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also visited Capitol Hill. Former First Lady Laura Bush and Michelle Obama were also present.
Although outgoing President Donald Trump did not attend the swearing-in ceremony, former Vice President Mike Pence was joined the event. More famous stars also appeared.
The President’s inauguration usually takes place in a joyous atmosphere in the United States. Millions of people gathered in Washington DC to celebrate the inauguration. Besides invited guests, people from different parts of the country come to watch the program. But this year, such a scene was not seen in the swearing-in ceremony.
