Barrister Rafique-ul Haque kept on life support

Prominent lawyer and former Attorney General Barrister Rafique-ul Haque has been kept on life support at the capital’s Ad Din Hospital. -reports BSS.
The hospital’s public relations officer Tabibur Rahman told BSS today that Rafique-ul Haque, also chairman of the Ad-din Foundation, has been kept on life support in intensive care unit (ICU) since last night following deterioration in his health.
Ad-Din Hospital’s director general Dr Nahid Yasmin said that Rafique-ul Haque was admitted to the hospital on October 15.
He has been suffering from various old-aged complications including anemia, she added.
He was the Attorney General from April 7, 1990 to December 17 of the same year.
During the caretaker government in 2007-2008, he lent legal support for top ranking political leaders.
