Bangladeshi youth shot dead in Brazil

A Bangladeshi youth named Muttakin Ahmed Raihan (23) was shot dead by a Brazilian miscreant.

According to a local expatriate source, Raihan was shot dead with the intention of snatching money. Raihan is the son of Sirajul Islam of Char village in Uttar Shahbazpur union of Baralekha upazila of Moulvibazar.

The incident took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil around 8:30 pm on Friday.

Family sources said, Raihan migrated to Brazil a few years ago in search of a livelihood. There he made a living by driving a taxi. As usual, Raihan was driving a taxi on Friday evening. He was shot dead by gunmen in the town of Sao Paulo around 8:30 pm.

However, the exact cause of Raihan's death is not yet known. 

Kamrul Islam, a Brazilian expatriate said on a phone conversation: “Raihan had taken a taxi out on Friday night. Suddenly I heard that he was shot dead by the miscreants. We saw footage from a CCTV camera there, the miscreants shot him and ran away. But I can't say exactly why they killed him.”
