Bangladesh turns into developing nation for Hasina: Matia

Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury said on Saturday Bangladesh has graduated to a developing country from the least developed countries for the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"people irrespective of cast, creed and religion are living in peace; their lifestyle has been improved remarkably due to implementation of many development programs in different sectors including agriculture " the minister said.

She was speaking as the chief guest in a function at Noapara High School in Kendua upazila of Netrokona district.

Chaired by president of the governing body of the school Tazul Islam, the function was addressed, among others, by Iftekharuddin Talukder Pintu, MP, Chhabi Biswas, MP, additional secretary of cabinet division Faruk Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner of Netrakona Main-UL -Islam, Police Super Joydeb Chowdhury, cultural secretary of Awami League Asim Kumar Ukil, former MP M Jubed Ali, former MP Monjur Kader Kuraishi and former MP Apu Ukil.

Matia Chowdhury urged people to cast their vote in favor of "boat" in next general election for continuing the development trends. She cautioned people to keep distance from those people who patronized terrorism and militancy in the country.
