This year's Asia Cup was supposed to be held in Pakistan. But it is not holding in Pakistan finally. The Asian Cricket Council has decided to take out the tournament from Pakistan due to India's objections.

Asia Cup is set to take place one month before Australia’sT20 World Cup in October. Six teams will take part in this year's Asia Cup in the Twenty20 format.

India has taken a stand against Pakistan from very begging. According to the ACC, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) directly say no about the Asia Cup in Pakistan. India announced to withdraw its name from the tournament if the Asia Cup is not removed from Pakistan. And that is why the tournament was removed from Pakistan.

The ACC did not announce a new venue yet for the tournament even after moving away from Pakistan. The possible list is Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Dubai. This year's Asia Cup may even be in Australia. However, it will be finalized next month, the ACC sources said.

It should be noted that Pakistan hosted the last Asia Cup in 2008. Since then, the tournament has not been made in this country due to security issues.
