Sri Lanka have won the toss and asked Bangladesh to bat first in their first super 12 Group 1 match at Sharjah, UAE.

The match starts at 4pm. T Sports and GTV will broadcast live.

Sri Lanka made one change. Maheesh Theekshana is not fit. Binura Fernando comes in for him.

Bangladesh also made one change from their previous playing XI. Taskin Ahmed is not playing, Nasum Ahmed comes in. "We would have liked to bat first," says Mahmudullah.

Sri Lanka won all three matches in the first round quite convincingly despite an early scare in their encounter against Ireland. They have been playing in the UAE and they are coming off a thumping win here at Sharjah where they skittled out their opponents for a paltry 44.

For Bangladesh, this is their first-ever T20I in the UAE. Their path to the Super 12 wasn't an easy one as they lost their opening match at the hands of Scotland. However, they roared back in style by winning back-to-back must-win games. We have witnessed the bowlers dominating in Sharjah for some time now - in the IPL as well in the two encounters in this tournament. Will that trend continue? Both teams will enjoy to bowl in those conditions.

Sri Lanka: 1 Kusal Perera (wk), 2 Pathum Nissanka, 3 Charith Asalanka, 4 Avishka Fernando, 5 Bhanuka Rajapaksa, 6 Dasun Shanaka (capt), 7 Chamika Karunaratne, 8 Wanindu Hasaranga, 9 Dushmantha Chameera, 10 Lahiru Kumara, 11 Binura Fernando

Bangladesh: 1 Litton Das, 2 Mohammad Naim, 3 Shakib Al Hasan, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim, 5 Mohammad Mahmudullah (capt), 6 Afif Hossain, 7 Nurul Hasan (wk), 8 Mahedi Hasan, 9 Mohammad Saifuddin, 10 Nasum Ahmed, 11 Mustafizur Rahman
