Bangladesh starts U-19s WC with win

Junior Tigers have started their Under-19 World Cup mission with 9 wickets victory against Zimbabwe at Potchefstroom today.

Bangladesh Under-19s won the toss and asked Zimbabwe U-19s to bat first. Zimbabwe Under-19s scored 137/6 in 28.1 over. Then the rain stopped the play.

When the rain stop and play resumed again. Zimbabwe did not bat again and 130 (22 over) runs target was set for Bangladesh in D/L method. Bangladesh chased down the target keeping 9 wickets in hand. 

Chasing the target Bangladesh lost opener Tanzid Hasan (32) to 41. But Parvez Hossain Emon's 58* and Mahmudul Hasan Joy's 38 helped Bangladesh youth to chased down the target easily.
