Bangladesh provides medical supplies to Nepal

Foreign Minister handed over the materials to the Nepalese Ambassador
Bangladesh has provided medicine and other medical supplies related to the coronavirus to Nepal to help the South Asian nation on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen handed over the materials to the Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Banshidhar Mishra in Dhaka.
This information was given in a notification sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.
The gifts were given by the people of Bangladesh as a mark of friendship towards the people of Nepal under the ‘The SAARC COVID-19 Emergency Fund’ formed on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. These gift items include PPE, hand sanitizer and floor cleaner.
At the same time, the Foreign Minister mentioned the rapid steps taken by Bangladesh to prevent coronavirus and the export of high-quality medicines and health care products to developed countries.
The Ambassador of Nepal highly appreciated the timely action taken by the Government of Bangladesh against coronavirus and the entrepreneurs and pharmaceutical companies of the country.
