‘Bangladesh moving towards prosperity under PM’s leadership’

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said Bangladesh is moving towards prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Stability is prevailing in the political arena of the country, liveliness is starting to return to every sector after overcoming the impact of coronavirus.
Awami League General Secretary said this at a regular briefing at his official residence on Saturday morning.
Stating the government’s various initiatives for the Rohingya repatriation, the Bridges Minister said the government is keeping an eye on the recent changes in Myanmar and its aftermath.
The minister hoped the international community, realizing the depth of the situation, would expedite the ongoing efforts to repatriate Myanmar nationals from Bangladesh.
Asking questions to the international community, Obaidul Quader said, “how long will Bangladesh bear this burden?”
“A group is still trying to create suspicion about the virus vaccine,” Obaidul Quader said, adding that no negative response to the vaccine has been received so far. Therefore, he urged everyone to come forward to take the vaccine with enthusiasm.
The Awami League General Secretary called for holding rallies, delegates’ meetings and mass communication programs on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Independence and Mujib Borsho from February 15 onwards. He also called upon the allied organizations to carry out the announced programs in line with the main party in carrying out these programs.
