Bangladesh locks deal with China to buy vaccines: Maleque

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque has said that Bangladesh has signed an agreement with China for the coronavirus vaccine.
The minister came up with the remarks at a virtual meeting organized by the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
"We are planning to produce the vaccine, for which we have held several meetings," he said. However, despite doing a lot to deal with Corona, we do not salvation from criticism.
Accusing Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) of giving false information and lying, the Health Minister said, "Although different countries have praised us, TIB is criticizing us while sitting in the air-conditioned room."
He said TIB's criticism of the health sector was not justified. Lack of transparency in vaccination, bed crisis - such remarks by TIB send the wrong message to the people.
