Bangladesh emerge group champions beating Kyrgyzstan

The Bangladesh U-19 women’s football team emerged group B champions in the Bangamata U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup Football beating Kyrgyzstan by 2-1 goals in their second and final group match held on Friday at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS). 

Sanjida put Bangladesh ahead in the very first minute (29th second) of the match (1-0).

Then, the girl in red-blue dress attacked in the Kyrgyzstan goal post but failed to score the goal. Bangladesh went to intermission with 1-0.

In the second half, Bangladesh doubled the difference in the 56th minute by Krishna Rani's goal but Kyrgyzstan girl reduces the difference in the 69th minute with Jairina's only goal. 

Bangladesh girl attacked several times but failed to score goal and they have to satisfied with 2-1.

Earlier, Bangladesh beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their first Group-B match in the same venue.
