Bangladesh approves trial of India’s Covaxin

Bangladesh has approved the clinical trial of the Indian indigenous coronavirus vaccine, Covaxin, which has been jointly developed by Bharat Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
Prof. Dr. Syed Modasser Ali, the chairman of the Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC), confirmed the matter to the media on Tuesday morning.
Bangladesh Medical and Research Council (BMRC) provided approval for the clinical trials. Earlier, the International Center for Diarrhea Research, Bangladesh (ICDDRB) applied for approvals to run the trial to the BMRC several months ago.
