Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal presents his letter of credence to Nepal president Bidya Devi Bhandari
Newly-appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Salauddin Noman Chowdhury has presented his letter of credence to Nepal president Bidya Devi Bhandari, a press release said on Friday.
After presenting the letter of credence at the Presidential Palace in Kathmandu, Salauddin Noman Chowdhury invited the President of Nepal to visit Bangladesh on behalf of Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Recalling the historical ties between the two countries, the President of Nepal said that there are many areas of cooperation between the two countries, including trade, power cooperation, and connectivity.
Hopefully, the two countries will be able to achieve areas that are convenient for both, she added.
