Bangladesh have posted 153/10 in their must-win second game against Oman of Group B qualifiers, Al Amerat, Oman.

After winning the toss Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad opted to bat first. But their start was not good as they lost opener Liton Das in the third over of the innings. Mahedi also follow him and dismissed for naught to Fayyaz Butt in the third ball of the 5th over of the innings leaving Bangladesh under huge pressure.

From here, Mohammad Naim and Shakib Al Hasan rebuild for Bangladesh. They added 80 off 53 for the third wicket stand before the latter ran out for 42 off 29. 

Nurul Hasan who was promoted in the batting order today. Could not prove his worth as he was caught at long-off for 3 off 4. 

Affif Hossain was dismissed for 1 off 4 who also promoted in the batting order ahead of Mushfiqur Rahim and skipper Mahmudullah failed to prove his worth. He went out to Kaleemullah in the first ball of the 17th over. Mohammad Naim also dismissed in the same over-scoring team highest 64 off 51. His innings were adorned with four sixes and three fours.

Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim the two experienced campaigners failed today. Mohammad Saif Uddin also dismissed for 0 and Bangladesh all out for 153 in 20 over.

For Oman Bilal Khan and Fayyaz Butt took 3 wickets each. Kaleemullah bagged 2 for 30 and Zeeshan Maqsood took one wicket.
