Bangladesh are set to return international cricket with a three-match Test series against Sri Lanka after coronavirus pandemic. If all goes well, the Tigers will play the first Test of the series in the last week of October. The venue for the three-match series was originally set to be one, but the decision was changed to two.

All three matches between the two countries were slated to be held in Colombo. However, the venue of the first two Tests has been changed by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC). According to the new schedule, the first two matches will be played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy while the third and final match of the tour will be played in Colombo.

Sri Lankan media outlet The Island quoted the country's cricket board as saying. Although the venue has been changed, the start dates of the three-Test series have not been fixed yet.

However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has previously said that the first Test is likely to start on October 24. The Bangladesh team led by Mominul Haque will leave the country for Lanka later this month.
