Law Minister Anisul Huq said that the friendship between Bangladesh and India will be stronger gradually. The judicial system of the two countries is almost the same. This will allow us to learn from each other as well as work together.
He said this after a courtesy call on the Indian High Commissioner in Gulshan on Tuesday.
“The legal infrastructures of our countries are almost the same. So we discussed how to increase mutual cooperation between our High Court and lower court judges and lawyers and how our legal institutions can function to provide training for them,” said Anisul Huq.
Praising the role and progress of the law minister in the judicial system of Bangladesh, Newly appointed Indian High Commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswami told reporters that India has historical ties with Bangladesh. We will cooperate each other in every sector.
Our judicial system is almost the same. There are no obstacles to mutual cooperation between the two countries. In this we can learn from each other, he added.
