Bangladesh Bank allows employees to work from home

Bangladesh Bank has allowed employees to work from home to prevent coronavirus infection by introducing a phased assignment or roasting system.
The central bank issued an office order in this regard on Thursday evening. It has been suggested to keep health risks to a minimum and not to disrupt day-to-day work by fixing breaks in the offices of bank officials and employees of the central bank.
The order further said that the officers who will be staying at home will have to fulfill their responsibilities from home. No one can leave the workplace. The officers who will come to work in the office will be given lunch.
The order also said that considering the importance of the work of all the divisional heads of the head office and the chief executive or general manager of the branch office and in terms of reality, responsibilities should be allotted or rostered in phases for smooth running of the office.
