‘Bangabandhu Cup Carrom Tournament’ inaugurated in London

The ‘Bangabandhu Cup Carrom Tournament’ has been inaugurated in London for the first time on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by the charity organization Neck Welfare Foundation UK.
Tower Hamlets Council Speaker Councilor Ahbab Hossain inaugurated the tournament at the Sound Tech Carrom Club in East London on Friday afternoon.
Saida Muna Tasnim, Bangladesh High Commissioner to London, Sultan Mahmud Sharif, President of UK Awami League, Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, Joint Secretary of UK Awami League spoke at the inaugural function.
According to the organizers, 32 teams took part in the carrom competition. The final of the tournament will be held with the next two weeks.
