Back injury rules Saifuddin out of World Cup, Rubel to replace

Bangladeshi seamer Mohammed Saifuddin has been ruled out from the 7th edition of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 due to a back injury.

It is learned that experienced seamer Rubel Hoosain will replace Saifuddin for the rest of the tournament.

Saifuddin felt pain from his previous back injury just before the match agasint England, as a result, he will be sidelined for the rest of the tournament or he will be flown back to the country. The seamer, also an all-rounder picked five wickets in the tournament so far.

After checking his injury, the Bangladesh cricket team’s medical team has advised Saifuddin to take a rest at the moment. 

The standby cricketer Rubel Hossain is already included in the team.
