Students’ movement demanding justice for Abrar Fahad murder including a 10-point demand at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has withdrawn.

The students made the announcement at a press conference in front of BUET’s Shaheed Minar on Tuesday evening.

On behalf of the students, Mahmudur Rahman Sayem, a student of the EEE department of the 15th batch of BUET, said that “After issuing a charge sheet by law enforcement, the students will continue boycott classes-exams until the BUET administration expelled the perpetrators”.

Expressing satisfaction with the decision taken by the BUET administration over Abrar murder, the students announced to postpone the movement. However, the teachers and students will organize an oath tomorrow.
