BSMMU professor dies of coronavirus infection

Dr. Muhammad Hossain, Associate Professor of the Urology Department of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), has died of coronavirus infection.
He died at the Square Hospital in the capital at 12:30 pm on Thursday. He was 56 years old.
Dr. Muhammad Hossain's body will be buried at the family graveyard in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali after Janazah prayers at his village home.
BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanak Kanti Barua expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.. In addition, the president of the Bangladesh Medical Association Dr. Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin and Secretary-General Dr. Md. Ihteshamul Haque Chowdhury have expressed grief.
Dr. Muhammad Hossain obtained his MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College and later his MS (Urology) degree from Dhaka University. In his teaching and teaching life, there are at least 19 research and knowledgeable publications.
