BRTC bus won`t be allowed for parking in capital from March
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has said that BRTC buses will not be allowed to park on the roads of the capital from next March.
He told reporters after a meeting of the Bus Route Rationalization Committee at Buriganga Hall of Nagar Bhaban in South City on Tuesday morning.
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Atiqul Islam said efforts were being made to restore order on the roads on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. That is why the two city corporations are working together.
We have also talked to the bus owners over the matter. The DNCC mayor also expressed hope that they would extend a hand of cooperation.
