BRTA shuts its emergency services a day after resuming

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) launched a limited range of emergency services on Monday (July 26), however, shut down its’s services on Tuesday, a day after the emergency services were launched.
The information was given in a circular signed by BRTA Director (Engineering) Shitangshu Shekhar Biswas on Tuesday (July 27).
Considering the changed situation of COVID infection, all the service activities of BRTA will be launched in phases as per the instructions of the government.
All BRTA services are currently closed due to lockdown.
