BRTA secretary Oliur Rahman dies

Secretary of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Khandaker Oliur Rahman died of lung complications after being infected with the coronavirus.
He breathed his last on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at the Rajarbagh Police Line Hospital, BRTA Chairman Nur Mohammad Mazumder said.
On November 16, Khandaker Oliur Rahman said on his Facebook page that he had been infected with the coronavirus.
A BRTA official said that Oliur Rahman had been admitted at the Central Police Hospital for 22 days after testing positive for coronavirus. A week after returning home, he fell ill again and was admitted to the hospital. He has been on life support for the past few days.
