BPSC announces dates for 38th BCS viva

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) will begin the viva-voce segment of 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations on July 29.

The examinations will start at the head office of the Commission on Agargaon from 10am. The PSC has confirmed the information through a notification on Monday.

BPSC published the written test results of 38th BCS exams on July 1. A total, 9,862 candidates passed among 14,546 candidates in different cadre positions.

It is said earlier, that about 2,400 cadre officers will be appointed through the 38th BCS. However, now 136 people will get recruitment in this BCS. In this, the total number of posts in this BCS is 2, 160.

The 38th BCS written examination concludes on August 13 last year. The 38th BCS preliminary examination was held on 29 December 2017. It is published within two months of the test. In this, 3 lakh 89 thousand 468 candidates appealed.
