BNP has picked two candidates against each constituency to contest the 11th parliamentary election slated to be held on December 30.

BNP Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that in almost every parliamentary constituency, we are sending nomination letters to two people. If any of the candidates are rejected for any reason, then others get the chance to participate in the election.

He said this at a press conference held at BNP's Chairperson's political office in Gulshan at 3pm on Monday.

Mirza Fakhrul said that many leaders and workers were arrested, disappeared, murdered across the country. In such a situation, there is no room for free and fair elections. But we are going to the polls to liberate Khaled Zia by creating a movement through the election.

He said the Election Commission is fully biased and continued their activities. The Election Commission is not neutral, the main election commission, K M Nurul Huda's nephew, SM Shahzada Saju, gets the Awami League nomination.
