Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader commented that the wave of awakening among the people around the world on the Mujib Year has started etching BNP.

He said this after distributing the book of the party's constitution and declaration and collecting of new members at the political office of the Awami League president in Dhanmondi on Wednesday.

Obaidul Quader said that those who had banned Bangabandhu in the post ’75 periods are now denying the Mujib Borsho again. The BNP’s grudge has begun seeing mass awakening around the Mujib Borsho across the world.

Quader said a conspirator team is opposing Narendra Modi's arrival in Bangladesh. This contradiction proves that they are denying the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.

Referring to Bangladesh's friendship with India, he said there will be many invited guests from all over the world. But an ill-tended group has come out against it.

The general secretary of the party urged the party leaders to be careful so that this evil force couldn’t tarnish the Mujib Borsho.

Obaidul Quader inaugurated the program by presenting books of the constitution, declaration and members’ collection to the leaders of Cumilla and Kurigram districts with the letters 'KA' in the alphabet, following the announcement of the 21st National Conference of the Awami League.

Awami League presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, organizing secretary Mirza Azam, office secretary Bilob Barua, relief and social welfare secretary Sujit Roy Nandi were present on the occasion.
