BDS admission application begins Mar 27

Applications for admission in the first year of the Bachelor of Dental Surgeon (BDS) course in government and private dental colleges will start from noon on March 27. The application process will continue until 11:59 pm on April 14. Candidates have to fill the online application form by depositing Tk 1000 through Teletalk mobile.
This information has been given in the press release issued by the Bureau of Health Education for the admission of students in the BDS course in Dental College/Unit/Institute in the academic year 2020-21.
The press release said students who have passed both SSC and equivalent examinations in 2017 and 2018 and HSC or equivalent examinations in 2019 and 2020, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, can apply for admission. Applicants will be able to download the admission form from April 24-26. The admission test will be held on April 30.
There will be 1-hour admission test for 100 MCQ questions of 100 marks. Physics 20, Chemistry 25, Biology 30, English 15 and 10 number MCQ from General Knowledge, History of Bangladesh and Liberation War.
In all domestic and foreign education activities, SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations should have a total GPA of 9. All Tribes (Plain and Hill Districts) should have a total GPA of 8 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations.
However, the application cannot be made if the GPA is less than 3.5 in any single test. Everyone must have a GPA of 3.5 in HSC or equivalent in Biology.
