Awami Matsyajibi League pays homage to Bangabandhu

Leaders of the Awami League Matsyajibi League paid homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman placing a wreath at his portrait at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

The tribute was paid on Sunday under the leadership of Saidur Rahman Sayeed, president of the organization, Saiful Alam Manik, president of the executive committee and Lion Sheikh Azgar Naskar, general secretary.

A special prayer was offered for the martyrs of 15 August 1975, 21 August 2004, 3 November 2004 including Bangabandhu and for the forgiveness of the souls of all the martyrs of the liberation war. A special prayer was offered for the wellbeing of and long life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Lion Sheikh Azgar Naskar, general secretary of the organization ‍said that by creating communal conflict, communal and undemocratic forces are obstructing the establishment of a peaceful situation, democracy and Bangabandhu's Sonar Bangladesh. Awami League Matsyajibi League under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working unitedly against these evil forces to build a prosperous Bangladesh.
