Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said that the party never engages in politics of revenge.
“Revenge politics is not conducive for democracy,” he said while addressing a video conference at the inauguration ceremony of BRTC’s double-decker bus service on the Mirpur-Narayanganj route from his official residence on Saturday morning.
At the time, the Bridges Minister said “the democracy is an evolving process, the participation of all political parties and develops in service.”
“Unfortunately, BNP talks about democracy, but they are far from the role that is needed to take it forward,” he said.
Obaidul Quader said BNP is the father of terror dependence, conspiracy and murder in the politics of this country. That is what they are practicing.
Noting that the Awami League is not afraid of criticism, he said the Awami League has the honest courage to learn from constructive criticism.
Instructing the concerned people that unskilled drivers should not be able to sit in the driving seat of the vehicle in any way, the Road Transport and Bridges Minister said, “All the staff including the bus driver have to wear the prescribed dress.”
