Autopsy of Shafayat completed

The autopsy of the body of Shafayat, rescued from the capital’s Bangla motor, has been completed. There are injury marks were found on Safayat’s body, but no bleeding.

On Thursday, the autopsy of the child was completed at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue. The three-member medical board conducted the autopsy.

After the autopsy, the head of the Department of Forensic Medicine Dr Sohel Mahmud said, The bleeding and liver swelling found in Shafayat’s brain and liver. His brain, liver, blood and lungs have been sent to the histopathology.”

He also said, “There is no sign of any sharp weapon injury or electrocution. There is an injury mark on his forehead. But it will be known after the report whether the injury is responsible for his death.” 

Other doctors of the board are --- lecturer Dr. Pradip Biswas, and lecturer Dr. Kabir Sohel.
