Army Sniper Team to visit Belarus

Bangladesh Army Sniper Team is going to Belarus to attend the International Army Games Competition-2019 for the third time. The nine-member team led by Colonel Humayun Kaiyum will fly for Belarus on July 28 to participate in ‘Sniper Frontier’ competition.   

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has disclosed the information in a press release on Friday.    

The team is consisting of 4 officer snipers, 4 soldier snipers, and an observer.  There will be 31 events in this year’s contest, said ISPR.  

The aim of the competition is to raise friendship among regional, continental and neighboring countries and display military skill quality by the participating countries, ISPR also said in the press release.  

The games is organized every year under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. Earlier, the snipers of Bangladesh Army participated in the International Army Games Competition-2017 in Kazakhstan and 2018 in Belarus and obtained 7th and 5th position in the order.
