Miraz brings 3rd day’s 1st breakthrough for Bangladesh

Spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz brought 1st breakthrough for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe by bowling out Brian Chari on 19/1 in 12.3 overs in the second innings in their first Test of a two-match series at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday. 

Skipper Hamilton Masakadza [14* off 49b; 1x4] and Brendan Taylor [18* off 14b; 3x4 ] are now at the crease in the second stand after Brian Chari’s dismissal for four runs when the team total was 40/1 in 16 overs.

Zimbabwe resumed the second innings on day three with a 140-run lead with H Masakadza and Brian Chari at the crease with the overnight team total of 2 for no loss in 2 overs.
