Anti-narcotics drives in capital, 47 held

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has detained 47 people for selling and taking drugs during anti-narcotics drives in the capital.
8,078 pieces of yaba, 157 grams of heroin, 1.760 kg of weed, 42 bottles of phensedyl and 402 injections of intoxicants were recovered at that time.
DMP Media and Public Relations Department has confirmed the information.
They have been arrested during drives in different places of the capital between Monday 6am to Tuesday 6am.
In this regard, 36 cases have been filed against the detainees under the Narcotics Control Act.
