Another 419 expatriates leave Lebanon for home tonight

Due to political instability and various internal crisis in Lebanon, 419 more expatriate Bangladeshi nationals are ready to return to the country willingly.
According to Bangladesh embassy sources, they will leave on a special flight of Bangladesh Biman on Thursday night and reach the country on Friday morning.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Bangladesh Embassy handed over air tickets to all those willing to return home voluntarily at the Clasico Stadium in Beirut. Getting tickets, the migrants thanked the Bangladesh government and embassy.
Other officials of the embassy including Labor Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun and Third Secretary Abdullah Al Safi were present at the time.
So far, more than 4,000 Bangladeshis have registered at the Bangladesh Embassy's voluntary repatriation program. They will be repatriated in stages.
Labor Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun said registration at the embassy would continue till February 28 in the interest of expatriates and all registered expatriates would be sent to the country on special flights of Bangladesh Biman in a short period of time. Bangladesh Biman has another special flight on February 21.
Earlier, on the night of February 15, a total of 432 Bangladeshis returned home in the first phase on a special flight of Bangladesh Biman.
